How can i fix my Dell Studio 15 laptop keyboard.?

A week or two ago my years guaranteee was up on my Dell Laptop Keyboard, a few days ago i tried to logon to my laptop account but when i was typing in the letters certains keys werent working. For example when you click on D, SWA will appear on screen instead of D. Does anybody know how to fix this Laptop Keyboard? Will i need a new keyboard such as Toshiba Laptop Keyboard?
