Enabling a PS3 Controller for use on Pc

I am looking to figure out tips on how to get my PS3 controller to function with my Win7 Laptop having said that I've spent a great hour messing with Motionjoy and I've had zero luck .



Are there any other drivers around that operate? Most everything I've uncovered has led me to some shady web-sites that I instead not venture to unless of course there may be some first hand expertise on the drivers functioning.
